We are please to announce that the MRWCC will be hosting the 2025 Community Appreciation Forum scheduled for October 8, 2025, from 4pm to 8pm, at the Milk River Civic Centre. Please see attached flyer for more information. You might remember that in the past, this event was held in spring but due to conflicting scheduling, going forward, we have decided to host it in fall.
2025 marks 20 years that the MRWCC has been in business. We have decided to use this forum to celebrate this important milestone. This will be a fun filled event, celebrating the work the MRWCC has achieved with the help of the community over the 20 years to promote watershed planning, management, and conservation initiatives. Please Join us as we celebrate the unique aspects of the Milk River watershed and growing community involvement in managing the areas that are important to all of us.
As part of the celebrations, we are planning to host a huge silent auction. To pull this off, we will need your support in donating items for the auction for this important milestone. The proceeds from the auction will help support the watershed planning, monitoring, and stewardship within our community. Our fundraising efforts have been a success because of your generosity and continued support over the years. We will accept any type of items (used/ new) or cash donation.
