2026 Canoe Trip!

Come Join The MRWCC for Our Annual Canoe Trip at the Roland Barn on Friday, June 19th, 2026!

We will be parking at Gold Springs and chartering to the barn to start the tour. The tour will end at Gold Springs, where we will be hosting an after-trip BBQ.

Please make sure to Bring Your Own Boat (BYOB) as there are no canoes available to rent from MRWCC and remember to clean, drain and dry your boats. Ensure you drop off your canoes/kayaks at the launch site (see attached map) before dropping your vehicle off at Gold Springs. The cost is $45 per person to help cover the cost of the tour. Lunch, snacks, and drinking water will be provided. The tour is limited to 30 people on a first come first serve basis.

If needed, Canoe rentals can be acquired in Lethbridge: https://www.highlevelcanoesandkayaks.com/ . Please note that MRWCC is not affiliated with the canoe rental company.

Canoe Trip Itinerary

8:00 am           Drop off canoes at the launch site (Roland Barn) see map below

8:30 am           Drop off your vehicles at Gold Springs Park (Destination)

9:00 am           Leave Gold Springs Park for the launch site (Roland Barn). Transportation will be available.

9:45 am           Safety presentation

10:00 am         Canoe Trip Launch at Roland Barn

2:30 am           Approximate arrival time at the destination (Gold Springs Park)

2:45 am           BBQ Lunch
