Water Supply Update

Monday July 14th update!
Hello Everyone, on Friday night we were informed that the St Mary Canal just east of Spider Lake (just passed the St Mary Siphon) developed a large seep that was nearing failure. A quick shut down of the diversion was enacted and repairs are currently underway. Flows have already dropped to ~1m3/s in the North Fork Milk River and are dropping rapidly now east of the Town of Milk River. Luckily, the situation did not get worse and the canal is currently being repaired. Current estimates are to hopefully restore diversion water mid week. If all goes well, we will see a return of sustained flow by the end of this week.
